Dehradun Police पुलिस लाइन में देहरादून एसएसपी अजय सिंह पर परेड के बिगुलर ने बिगुल से वार कर दिया। एसएसपी इस हमले में बाल-बाल बचे। आरोपी ने पुलिस लाइन के इंचार्ज से भी अभद्रता की। आरोपी हेड कांस्टेबल को गिरफ्तार कर जेल भेज दिया गया है।
शुक्रवार सुबह साप्ताहिक परेड चल रही थी। सात बजे 13 टोलियां फाइनल होने के बाद साढ़े सात बजे एसएसपी अजय सिंह मौके पर पहुंचे और परेड मार्च का आदेश दिया। परेड में पहले वादन की अवधि 40 मिनट होती है।
सभी टोलियां परेड कर रही थीं। पहले वादन की अवधि से चार मिनट पहले ही पुलिस लाइन का बिगुलर जितेंद्र कुमार (हेड कांस्टेबल) एसएसपी के पास पहुंचा और वादन समाप्त करने की अनुमति मांगी। वहां इंस्पेक्टर जगदीश चंद्र पंत भी मौजूद थे।
उन्होंने बिगुलर को यह कहकर रोका कि अभी परेड की पहली अवधि पूरी नहीं हुई है। आरोप है कि इससे भड़के बिगुलर ने इंस्पेक्टर से गाली-गलौच शुरू कर दी। आरोपी गोली मारने की धमकी देकर इंस्पेक्टर पर झपटा। एसएसपी ने जितेंद्र को रोकते हुए सख्त लहजे में कहा कि वह तुरंत परेड मैदान से बाहर चला जाए।
आरोप है कि जितेंद्र ने बिगुल से एसएसपी पर जान से मारने की नीयत से वार कर दिया। एसएसपी किसी तरह बच गए। अफरा-तफरी के बीच अफसर आरोपी को पकड़कर क्वार्टर गार्द की ओर ले गए। इस बीच परेड बाधित हो गई। इंस्पेक्टर ने नेहरू कॉलोनी थाने में केस दर्ज कराया। थाना पुलिस ने आरोपी को गिरफ्तार कर लिया।
